The RIMS Detroit Chapter will use the RIMSMail system to communicate with the members via mass e-mails and or facsimile transmissions.
If a RIMS Detroit member does not have an email account, that member will be notified of the RIMSMail communications by facsimile transmission. The RIMSMail communications can then be reviewed from the RIMS.ORG web site.
Each RIMS Detroit member can set his or her own preferences for the RIMSMail system, including an option to receive messages sent via this system once a day, once a week, etc.
While an individual member will not have the option of setting preferences to block certain types of RIMSMail communications, Detroit Chapter members can opt NOT to have any mail forwarded to them and can opt out of the RIMSMail Directory if they wish.
