When the Detroit Chapter adds an event to its calendar, the event is reviewed by RIMS National, and if accepted, posted to the calendar.  

The calendar displays all posted events nationwide.   By default, all events are displayed for all chapters.  Near the bottom of the of the calendar, you can select to view only a specific chapter's events by changing values in the "Events In" or "Chapter" drop-downs.

The public is permitted to submit a request to the Detroit Chapter for an event to be posted by the Detroit Chapter.  If the Board of Directors agrees to do so, the event will be posted to the calendar. 

Clicking on the event in the Detroit Chapter's Calendar will display the details for the event, including the sponsoring entity, date, time and location. 

Another chapter may post events on our Calendar, if the event will be held in the Detroit geographic area and if the other chapter is in the same Region.
